Coffee Date Spots You have to Try
Picture this, it’s Saturday evening and your spending it with your best friends, your parents, or maybe your lover. You’ve decided you want to start your Sunday morning off at a cute coffee shop. Now your faced with the dilemma of knowing which coffee shop will be the perfect spot for your coffee date. Not just any coffee shop works either. It has to have delicious coffee, indoor and maybe outdoor seating, good vibes, and hopefully some delicious pastries.
Maybe you also might want to make a day of it, or maybe you’re visiting from out of town and this is one of the spots on the agenda. This is the perfect list of options to have a special Sunday coffee morning for you and your favorite(s).
Vita Coffeehouse (Waxahachie, TX)
Vita is tucked away in a small, wholesome town of Texas. It’s only a couple hours from Austin and only 30-35 min from Dallas. The space is styled in boho, vintage decor with smiling, kind staff, and delicious coffee. I personally met the owner in Dallas and her love and passion for coffee truly made this spot come alive. It’s so unique and you can explore the little town too!
Desnudo Coffee (Austin, TX)
The coffee is incredible here, the staff is some of the best staff I have ever interacted with, and the vibes are exactly what you’d expect Austin to feel like. The coffee truck is located in a food truck park with 3-4 other food trucks. You have the option of grabbing the infamous Austin brekky tacos or other foods options to pair with your coffee. You can also enjoy the weekend market where local businesses come and feature their products. Best part? Desnudo heavily advocates and personally works with their coffee farmers in Colombia.
Lala Kind Coffee (Dallas, TX)
Everything is bright, yellow, and lively- how can you dislike this spot? Lala Kind has various locations but if you’re in Texas you have to visit one of the Dallas locations. Lala Kind is all about kindness and making a positive impact in this world. They focus on hiring and mentoring fostered youth. This place offers delicious coffee, delicious food, and a positive, kind space for anyone to enjoy.
La Reunion Coffee (Bishop Arts, Dallas, TX)
La Reunion serves on sophistication and sleek vibes plus the area it’s located in is the icing on the cake. You can grab a coffee and enjoy the indoor/outdoor space (indoors only if the weather is bad) and then pop over to Revelers Hall for Sunday street jazz. You can also enjoy a delicious bite of food with your Sunday coffee experience.
309 Coffee (Georgetown, TX)
I recently stumbled upon this place for a coffee class and I loved every second of it. The owners and staff are so passionate about what they do and the community they have built. It is located in the heart of Georgetown so there is plenty to explore. The coffee is delish and the shop feels like your home with all your favorite people, around a love for connecting.
Finding a coffee shop that gives all the things you need can seem super overwhelming and daunting. You can’t go wrong with choosing any of these. If weather is good, all are great options. If weather isn’t so good, I’d suggest avoiding Desnudo, but the rest are perfect for indoor and outdoor. I love making my coffee visits feel like an adventure; full of life and fun. These coffee shops never fail to give exactly that!
